I started a collaboration with CRIM(Research Center in Microengineering) an european leader in the research and development of bio-inspired and/or bio-applied micro- and nano-robots and systems center.
Now I’m working on a large-scale european project “ARAKNES”, for an innovative robotic system for endoluminal surgery.
I’m in charge to model this robot and I’m working very closely with the Biomedical Engineers of the school with whose I have a constant brainstorming.
My Role: CGI&3D Consultant , freelance (May 2009 – present)

As freelance I follow all the production process on my own from concept, modelling and/or animation to shading, texturing, compositing as well as video editing and direction.
That’s an amazing large scale project with 11 among bigger european companies and renowned universities ( Imperial College, London-University of St. Andrews..) and I’m honoured to give my contribution to this kind of projects.
I will be also in charge to follow the shell design of Araknes. I’m looking for both some great company or schools that could be suitable with our expectations.
I’m also going to follow stereoscopy, wich is at the base of Araknes’s technology, with some 3D tests to check a new autostereoscopic display .
Working with the research give me the opportunity to stay always up to date with the innovation.
