After over 3 years of development, fund raising and unrelenting determination, independent producers and creators from Glasgow Animation Ltd, joined forces with Sir Sean Connery to form ‘Billi Productions Ltd’, the entity which will produce Connery’s first ever voice over role for an animated film.
With a working title of ‘Sir Billi’, the company originally set out to produce a short 3D CGI film, staring Academy Award winner Sir Sean Connery in the lead role, with Tony award winner Alan Cumming co-starring. Musical score is provided by Oscar nominated composer and fellow Scot Patrick Doyle. Golden Globe winner Doyle, whose credits include films such as ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’, ‘Secondhand Lions‘ ‘Frankenstein’ and most recently ‘Sleuth’, also lends his voice as a key character in the storyline.
Several of British film and television’s award winning comedy and drama stars have also joined this impressive voice-over line up.
The company announced that they would be progressing to a full length feature in early 2007. Having moved into post production at the end of 2008, the film is due for completion in 2010… read more about Sir Billi (2010).
My Role: Senior Modeller (May 2008 – June 2009, Glasgow-Scotland)

I had been employed here as Senior Modeller and I worked at different stages of the production.
I worked mostly as characters modeller and I modeled a great deal of blendshapes for expressions as well as phonemas and corrective blendshapes however I also modeled props and enviroments.
I did also a lot of textures in Photoshop doing also UV’s Layouts, improving these for shading and texturing as required for an highest detail.
As Senior Modeler I modeled a lot of stuff from the 007’s Aston Martin, DB5 to the blendshapes for all the main characters inside the movie (Admiral(Sean C.),Vicky(the duck above),beavers and rabbits and all the other human) checking and fixing also the previous charaters modeled before my arrived.
I was honoured to work for one that I consider one of the most awesome actor in the world, Sean Connery.
